Hello Jukka, Thanks for your report. Please find my comments inline. Ok, this error message comes from the kernel when there is something wrong with transmitting data over IPv6-in-IPv6 tunnel. This does not sound like problem. On HA, the output of '%ifconfig <tunnel I/F>' should look like what you described above. The only difference with the output of ifconfig on MN is that the MN's home address is assigned to the tunnel interface and you should be able to see it in the output. So, I think this (output of ifconfig) is not indicating any error, at least. > Network looks like this > > > +--------+ 2001:db8:c0a8:64::1 > | HA |---------------------+ > +--------+ | > | 2001:db8:c0a8:c8::1 | > | | > | | > | | > | | > +-----+ | > | AP1 | | > +-----+ | > | 2001:db8:c0a8:64::a > +------+ > | AR | > +------+ > | 2001:db8:a01::1 > | > | > | > | > +-----+ > | AP2 | > +-----+ > > > > > Any idea what is wrong with the tunneling? From your report, it seems to me that there is something wrong with handling IPv6-in-IPv6 tunnel on mobile node side. Before you start the userland daemon on the mobile node, make sure that all the IPv6 tunnels are deleted except for ip6tnl0 which exists all the time. If you still have problem, could you also provide your config file of mip6d as well as kernel configuration file?
