According to your statement : *"Due to the lack of the "cu" facility in our embedded OS, we had to use the data part of IPv4 "ping" commands (from altered TN Perl scripts) to control reboots in order to run automatically."* In my lab the target is having the IPv6 stack ,the host and the target are connected through network cable and we use minicom to dial in. Will this setup be ok. Infact i was running the test suite with samples, my target and host are connected through network hub and i ran the tests on the host and target is having IPv6 stack and i got the results too... Is this correct??
