    Special test version
    
    This test version save the input and output data
    in FAX mode in the temp dir, so you can display the waveforms.
    The .alaw files are bit reversed ALAW raw files (use sox -r 8000 -A -X to
    read them). The .wav are signed 16 bit linear raw files.
