it has been 'years' ago since I have written the mISDN-v2 layer1 driver
called 'l1loop', which is a software only, virtual ISDN driver.
Sounds weird, but true this is ;)

One purpose among others for doing that was to boost writing new layer1
hardware drivers, because you find all the L2<->L1 communication already
implemented, and you 'simply' need to care about the hardware stuff. I hope
you find it useful too, and start your work by cloning l1loop.

If you look at other existing hardware driver, e.g. avmdritz.c, you should
be able to figure out which parts of l1loop.c need to be rewritten or
filled up...
