OK then I need some informations about the TIFF files.
Can you please use -k option to keep the temporary files (in
/tmp/<dir>) and send me the output of tiffinfo of the received
temporary tiff file and the final tiff from hylafax (if needed you can
mask the phone numbers).

Maybe here is some special format issue with these files.
