hi Urs
As written in my posts I have managed to have misdnv2, chan_lcr, Asterisk and Freepbx working together.

Freepbx offers very good logging but I dont know if it could be an "overkill" for your project?
I hope to be able to post my installation guide in the coming months as soon as I finish testing and install my productive system (hopefully successfuly!)

I have an AVM Fritz Box connecting my LAN to the IP provider, and
attached to it I have a number of ISDN phones and a Linux server
(Debian testing, Linux kernel 3.17.1) with a passive ISDN card:

$ lspci|grep ISDN
04:01.0 Network controller: Cologne Chip Designs GmbH ISDN network controller [HFC-PCI] (rev 02)

I want to log calls from and to the ISDN phones on the Linux server,
so that I get

        * time of call establishment, duration, calling number, and
          called number of incoming calls

        * time of call establishment, duration, and called number of
          outgoing calls

        * time of incoming call alerts (that aren't established).

Currently, I do all this using isdn4linux, the hisax driver on a Linux
2.4 kernel, an AVM Fritz Card, and isdnlog. This works but I'd like
to abandon this old machine. I tried to run hisax and isdnlog on
Debian with Linux 3.x but until now I've been unsuccessful. Some days
after starting isdnlog it crashes.

My question therefore is how can I do all the logging with Linux 3.x
and misdn.
