It seems like I did not fully understand the program flow regarding 
evaluation of card identification.
I will check as soon as I have access to system again, in 3 days.
The reason I did not find this particular collection of patches might be 
that I searched for a different card name.
It seems Swyx is a manufacturer, though mine does not say that anywhere.  
I was under the impression that Colognechip themselves made the card.
Searching for the subdevice ID did not yield this result either, but I 
might just have used only unlucky combinations of keywords.
Thanks again, I will report back if the patched driver works.
