Using mISDN with recent asterisk and Debian

Hi,

I'm searching some info on how to use mISDN with recent version of 
Asterisk (14.6.0) and Debian (stretch). I have a supported HFC card 
(that is working with the old mISDN before 2.6).

I followed this HOWTO, https://www.misdn.eu/wiki/Howto_for_Debian/ but 
now i do not understand how to use it.

I suppose that chan_misdn that's still distributed with asterisk is not 
the right way, because i cannot find any reference to misdn-init init 
script and /etc/misdn-init.conf configuration file (still referenced in 
/etc/asterisk/misdn.conf).

 From what's listed in the wiki it seems that it is referring to LCR, 
but I need to use my ISDN only in TE mode, to receive calls from my 
provider, and don't need to use it to make call to ISDN phones.

Anyway I tried to build LCR using git://git.misdn.eu/lcr.git/, but I got 
an error on ./configure

configure: error: in `/usr/src/asterisk-14.6.0/lcr':
configure: error: No ast_tone_zone_sound, confused...

and all I could found about it was in a German forum, with a reference 
to an unreachable gmane message for a workaround.

So my question are:

1) can I still use asterisk chan_misdn, and if yes how I do configure my 
card (where I put that was in /etc/misdn-init.conf and misdn-init?)

2) if I need to use LCR, which version I need to use that give no 
configuration error or what workaround I need to apply to try to build it?

3) I'm looking in the wrong direction and I should use something other 
than mISDN?
