Using a Japanese Casio printer

I have dug out an old printer I have (bought 1993) because I would like 
to use it to print out Japanese documents, but I am not able to figure 
out how to get it to print with Linux and Casio's site is not helpful.

Does anyone here know what to do, even if just to get it to print textfiles?

It is a: Casio Page Printer mini CP-500S

And according to the manual in Japanese, which I can read somewhat, I 
can see that it supports the modes:

ECS/Page
ESC/P
201H

By plugging it into the parallel and serial port I have attempted to get 
CUPS to detect it, but without luck, and no Casio printer is listed 
anywhere so I don't know if it is supposed to be compatible with another 
printer.

 From the manual I can see that Seiko/Epson is mentioned together with 
the two first modes and NEC PC-9800 series for the third, but none that 
I have tried in CUPS (Seiko and Epson only) will work with it.

I have no idea how to construct an /etc/printcap entry, but it would be 
nice if anyone has a suggestion.
