Hi all: I hope some people here speak english :) I use Slackware as my only OS on two of my machines (internet gateway and laptop) and run it dual boot on my desktop. It would be really nice if I could implement Japanese input in the Linux environment, as my roommate is Japanese and she wants to be able to type in her native language on these machines. I have downloaded PJE 0.1.5 from ftp.jaist.ac.jp (only the tgz directory) and am at sort of a loss as to where to go from here... do I just install all of the packages in some sort of crazed install-fest ( heh heh )?? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Michael Mohr P.S. Please cc me at [email protected] when you reply... I think I subscribed correctly to the mailing list already but I have not received even one message from it as of yet so who knows... - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-japanese" in the body of a message to [email protected] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
