kpdf crashes (always)

I wonder if anyone has a clue what's going on here.

I made the mistake of installing the latest acroread.  After that, my mime 
bindings for pdf were gone.  I thought, "Oh, I'll just yum reinstall 
kdegraphics and that should fix it".

Now kpdf always crashes, so now I have no pdf reader.
