FYI, I've succeeded in putting KDE 4.0.4 and Qt 4.4 on a reasonably
stock CentOS 5.1 system.  I just got it put together yesterday, so I
haven't played too much with it, but it seems stable and complete.
What can I do to help you put together packages (if you change your
mind and don't want to wait for KDE 4.1)?  I'm happy to provide a list
of dependencies that had to be pulled in and compiled or anything else
you might need.  Let me know.
