First steps:

clean/clear tmp directories, (don't be logged into kde):
rm -rf /tmp/kde- /tmp/ksocket-* /var/tmp/kdecache-*

selinux enabled?  If so, consider relabeling filesystem,
touch /.autorelabel
reboot
