Works for me.
First go into Configure Calendar -> Plugins page
Select Jewish Calendar Plugin
Then make sure to select one of the Position options, for me
I select "show at the top of agenda views"

You might also want to see them in the month view.

The bug is that some of those Position options should be set by default.
