To change your login manager to kde more permanently as root run: echo "DISPLAYMANAGER=\"KDE\"" > /etc/sysconfig/desktop and then restart X. to switch back to gnome either do the same but replace KDE with GNOME or remove /etc/sysconfig/desktop and it will default back to gnome. Hope thats what your looking for. 2008/11/12 GN <[email protected]> > Hi, > > Can someone please tell me how to switch desktops from Gnome to KDE in > Fedora 9. > > There used to be a desktop switching tool but I cannot find it in F9 > > -- > Kind regards, > > Graeme > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's > challenge > Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great > prizes > Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world > http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ > _______________________________________________ > kde-redhat-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/kde-redhat-users > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/
