Problems compiling keepalived 1.2.9

I cant compile 1.2.9 on a redhat RHEL 5.10 (32bit) Any ideas why this i
failing? Is someting missing, I have no problems compiling 1.2.8.
I run configure with this parameter, "./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/latest-keepalived"
