Statically Linking Keepalived

Hi Everybody,

Ihave  just installed LVS (IPVS kernel patch + ipvsadm) on a soekris 
single-board computer. Does anybody know how to create a keepalived binary 
that is statically linked?

I tried so many ways but couldn't compile keealived except with shared 
libraries.
