 Hi,

 I have just installed and tested keepalived. I don't' use the lvs
daemon. The aim of this is to do fail over between 2 machine where I install
Gnugk.

configuration file on first machine

 vrrp_instance VI_1 {
    state MASTER
    interface eth0
    smtp_alert
    virtual_router_id 51
    priority 150
    virtual_ipaddress {
      213.144.73.222
      }
}

On second machine

vrrp_instance VI_1 {
    state BACKUP
    interface eth0
    smtp_alert
    virtual_router_id 51
    priority 100
    virtual_ipaddress {
      213.144.73.222
      }
}

When I start keepalived daemon the first machine enter in Master state, the
second one in Backup state but only for few second and then enter in MASTER
state too, owning the ip address.
Can anyone help me?

Robert
