vrrp weight problem

Hello,
I have a problem with vrrp. It seems like the vrrp_script I track only
runs if the weight is positive.

vrrp_script test {
  script "date >> /tmp/test"
  interval 2
}

This script works with:
track_script {
  test weight 2
}
but not with:
track_script {
  test weight -2
}


If I configure an negative weight in the script it also does not run.

vrrp_script test {
  script "date >> /tmp/test"
  interval 2
  weight
}

anyone got an idea whats wrong?
