Hello All,
I am unable to get keepalived work with VRRP and healthchecker together.
Only VRRP mode selected in /etc/sysconfig/keepalived with -P option
makes keepalived work and i can see the virtual IP assigned to the eth0 of
the MASTER instance.
Can anyone tell me how to get this working together.
I use 2 machines to test keepalived configuration. 1st machine is running
MASTER config and another runs BACKUP config. Both configs are as below:
1st machine:
-------------------
vrrp_instance VI_1 {
state MASTER
interface eth0
virtual_router_id 51
priority 101
advert_int 1
authentication {
auth_type PASS
auth_pass 1111
}
virtual_ipaddress {
10.15.0.142/28 dev eth0
}
nopreempt
}
2nd machine:
--------------------
vrrp_instance VI_1 {
state BACKUP
interface eth0
virtual_router_id 51
priority 50
advert_int 1
authentication {
auth_type PASS
auth_pass 1111
}
virtual_ipaddress {
10.15.0.142/28 dev eth0
}
nopreempt
}
I also have iptables configured to enabled VRRP as follows:
In /etc/sysconfig/iptables
-I INPUT -i eth0 -d 224.0.0.0/8 -j ACCEPT
-A INPUT -p 112 -i eth0 -j ACCEPT
-A OUTPUT -p 112 -o eth0 -j ACCEPT
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Aditya
