Please check the following tool: https://github.com/ivoronin/kadadm It allows to check keepalived status (through SNMP), including real server status: $ kadadm -i VS# ADDRESS:PORT WEIGHT STATUS ACT_CONNS INACT_CONNS CPS IPPS OPPS IBPS OBPS 1.1 172.16.0.2:80 100 alive 0 0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 1.2 172.16.0.3:80 90 alive 0 0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 2.2 172.16.0.5:80 90 alive 0 0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 2.1 172.16.0.4:80 100 alive 0 0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 Also you can check VRRP, virtual addresses and servers status, change real servers weights, VRRP priorities and preempt mode.
