I've configured all of it into my cobbler and puppet servers and can get them to install and configure both sides of the system now. The documentation at https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/7/html/Load_Balancer_Administration/s1-lvs-direct-VSA.html isn't fully updated for EL 7 yet, as they still mention sysV and arptables_jf, while it should be systemd and arptables.
