Did you wait long enough for keepalived to notice that it should reestablish connection with snmpd? Because reconnecting to the agent can block keepalived, this is only done seldomly. You have to wait 2 minutes. More on this here: http://vincent.bernat.im/en/blog/2012-fixing-async-agentx.html Also, you should get some logs about that. keepalived should complain if the connection to snmpd is lost and complain each time it tries to reestablish the connection. -- Make sure your code "does nothing" gracefully. - The Elements of Programming Style (Kernighan & Plauger) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ Keepalived-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/keepalived-devel
