A: are you running with SELinux enforcing? B: do you not see your VIPs/real servers in ipvsadm? C: did you see anything in your message log about being unable to load the ip_vs_* modules? If so, you might have hit the same problem I have on CentOS 7 which was that 7.1.1503, keepalived is no longer permitted to load kernel modules. I fixed this by setting the selinux boolean domain_kernel_load_modules to 'on' setsebool -P domain_kernel_load_modules=on Cheers. Tom. Although I've yet to find any one document that advocates everything you specified below. What I had running in my original post worked fine under 6.4 I think it was. I've configured all of it into my cobbler and puppet servers and can get them to install and configure both sides of the system now. > > The documentation at https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/7/html/Load_Balancer_Administration/s1-lvs-direct-VSA.html isn't fully updated for EL 7 yet, as they still mention sysV and arptables_jf, while it should be systemd and arptables. As you can see my tips were merely a translation of the old documentation into something more correct for EL 7, nothing more. > > - PIm > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored > by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all > things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to > news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
