Yes, that part is covered. There won't be overlapping subnets and vrids.
Is this type of configuration anticipated by keepalived or should I expect problems?

This is not OK.

A router id needs to be unique on a broadcast domain (ie. subnet).
It's what groups a set of servers into a logical cluster.
