-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi, I've been working on issue #285, for which I now have a proposal. During the development I noticed a number of issues with sync-groups, particularly when "preemption" is permitted on instance members. Its relatively trivial to setup a scenario where conflicting priorities on instances on each peer cause state instability and oscillation of sync-group state between peers. I'm currently investigating a mechanism which would disable preemption whenever a instance is added to a sync-group. Alternatively its possible that we could limit preemption within a sync-group to one control instance which could be identified in configuration. Does anyone have any opinions on this subject? Thanks, Colin. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJW/pVJAAoJEFFTL+lu4EfokukQAIrvvK4AhaOP71bNAVZ8xFSy 5BtBYeclb6TR5C6aQU0Of7kjYUTLjv9Xfe44jaqbSx1PCE/e1IFadJPG3HMIH6+7 ong0+7m2piYM3vd8H4mINit0daYzB+qFnQgjyFss/ZwAYkh3n3t+3/RRuPwf/7ro 3gRoR4ZdkhYfah028+USX2wqvf0dtE08qzmhkGLRFCOzC/JrTgub0U9emjXWafeC Jz4BBmZckKBJdejOYZatgo/6+1KEVapCIHGp37OQOYq8bJbbtfzlY1b+mnnOQUiK +KxfD9ku3VCdFgduAmQAjx0KMfP3pgna8f6g0E+KSaw1LNRw/uSintaYJXtq3cu7 Chjb/4eNkFpiMZme48C9GhWPzOZVUf9yE5IsL13l2vZPANBJ7tL9FlB+wfXr1o8P Tmhps3EYBy0XeaxpbIzJk59bxKtO1ROlleJ5q2EoOkMcwhdjd1zZotVLqYXEd0/J Tt82Wy4dCNY1udKN9ytRaUulOyEAg2ArQ9S5o4nRblG8b909USW8H2wgPV0ds/pF pS3X1cEmoHX2wlwLkNslDPodoOptfmWnIkbnBTEGLj2GUDp7YDOTa+9865PCtVXN e1QJIOBgyf2b/2LWYZ6Djq2/P8hem8fPIbIV3Dd7WFPicyQG9vjvfe1T5MNSZAEl NPZNeVhb+82lLmqELlgr =0lkM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Transform Data into Opportunity.
