Don't worry. I figured-out that --enable-snmp is an alias/shortcut for

    --enable-snmp-vrrp --enable-snmp-checker

Just like --enable-snmp-rfc is an alias for

    --enable-snmp-rfcv2 --enable-snmp-rfcv3
