Hi: I installed the kdb according to instruction, but after rebooting the machine, it reports one panic issue: "can't mount /dev/root....kernel panic..". The kdb patches used by me are: 1> kdb-v4.4-2.6.27-x86-1.bz2 2> kdb-v4.4-2.6.27-common-1.bz2 And the Linux kernel is linux-2.6.27.1.tar.gz I patched the Linux kernel with the following commands: 1> patch l1 < kdb-v4.4-2.6.27-common-1 3> patch l1 < kdb-v4.4-2.6.27-x86-1 The Linux kernel is patched successfully, because there is not any error shows failure. And then Make all->make bzImage->make modules->make modules_install->make install Could you tell me what's the problem?
