Hi, I managed to find and fix the problem. It was the driver files that were not up to the task. I used the ones downloaded from the Linuxant site and it seems that they are not updated. I just went to the Windows system dirs (which I fortunatly have on this specific machine) and reloaded the INF, BIN and SYS files from there. Another note: the files had mixed case names, but it seems that internally, due to Windoze/DOS limitations, they treat the filenames as lowercase. Now the funny twist is that since Linux treats the filenames as a normal OS should, the case mixing hurts the driver loading - so I had to change the filenames to all lower cases. Now all works all right - including the WPA encryption.
