Hi, it is possible that when there is no activity on the wireless connection, the Windows XP driver decides to go in "sleep mode" and for some unknown reasons, it never leave this mode. It is possible that there is an advanced option with the Web Configurator to change this behavior of the Windows XP driver. The availability of this option is dependent on the installed Windows XP driver. Alternatively, you could try to run a 'ping' process in the background on the wireless connection just to make sure that the Windows XP driver does not go in sleep mode. It is also possible that the following commands in a root shell will restore the connection: --- dldrstop ifup <wireless_interface> --- instead of doing a reboot of the machine. Finally, you could also try with different versions of the Windows XP driver which might be available on the web site of the vendor of the wireless device.
