Hi all
acer ferrari 4005WLMi with AMD turion 64
i have tried all and any of the published tips found in www and forums
uswed for suse 9.3
to NO success at all
LAN works
bluetooth works
X-server works
actually all machine works perfectly
except the wlan still gives consistent problems
i tried both solutions
driverloader of course since i used driverloader since more than a year
on my previous machine ( acer tm 6003 with suse 9.x ) successfully
(and
ndiswrapper)
in both cases NO success
any help appreciated
just let me know what additional data you may need
below is the output of my driverloaderdiag.txt
driverloader does NOT accept the .inf / .sys drivers
i tried BOTH windows drivers
the one linked on YOUR linuxant.com - website ,
the 64-bit_Broadcom_54g_Drivers
bcmwl564.sys
netbc564.inf
as well as the original drivers running on my XP partition ( same
machine )
i.e.:
bcmwl5.inf
bcmwl5.sys
NO success - drivers NOT accepted by driverloader
driverloader interface always asking for another driver
..
all is working on this new fine machine - except
no wireless device detected
