so near... ubuntu hoary + driverloader + netgear wg511v1

Hi,

Just tried the above install - all seemd to go swimmingly, with card 
enabled at end of install process.  However, on subsequent boot, there 
was no card light and no interface.

New to Ubuntu (and gnome) so not sure where to go looking; iwconfig 
shows no wireless extensions for lo, eth0 or sit 0 (lo is standard 
loopback, eth0 is separate ethernet connection - which works fine.

Any suggestions?
