Hi, I am having problems getting the above adapter to work under Suse 10.0 (open source). I have installed the Linuxant driver without any apparent errors. I then go to the configurator web page and load the athfmwdl.inf file. I then load ar5523.bin and athfmwdl.sys, at which point I get: "No devices found. - It seems that your device is either not present or not supported by the installed driver(s)." I have a dual boot box and the adapter works fine under Windows. I have seen lots of reference to the following (in this case, the known issues on the Linuxant website: "Atheros USB adapters require loading of both the firmware driver (athfmwdl) and the network driver (typically neta5agu).". However I can't find any instructions on how to load this - I have the file neta5agu.cat on my disk/system, but no inf file. Any help would be most appreciated. I paste some diagnostics below: Thanks in advance, Phil Linux version 2.6.13-15-smp (geeko@buildhost) (gcc version 4.0.2 20050901 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)) #1 SMP Tue Sep 13 14:56:15 UTC 2005 BIOS-provided physical RAM map: BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009e400 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000000009f800 - 00000000000a0000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000000f0000 - 0000000000100000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 0000000000100000 - 000000007fff0000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000007fff0000 - 000000007fff3000 (ACPI NVS) BIOS-e820: 000000007fff3000 - 0000000080000000 (ACPI data) BIOS-e820: 00000000fec00000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) 1151MB HIGHMEM available. 896MB LOWMEM available. found SMP MP-table at 000f50c0 On node 0 totalpages: 524272 DMA zone: 4096 pages, LIFO batch:1 Normal zone: 225280 pages, LIFO batch:31 HighMem zone: 294896 pages, LIFO batch:31 DMI 2.3 present.
