Hi,

did you tried without WPA to see if you have the same delay? Do you have 
any error or warning message(s) left in your 'dmesg' which could explain 
the problem? If the problem is WPA related, you could try with our 
'dldr_wpa_supplicant' package instead of 'wpa_supplicant' available at:

http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/wlan/full/downloads.php#wpa

to see if there is a difference.
