Kubuntu and WPC54G ver.2

I installed the driverloader on my machine and it worked just fine until I
restarted it. Once I did so, the card was never detected again (even the
lights did not turned on). Then after a few tries I managed to uninstall and
re install the driver. Same thing, it work just fine until I reboot the
machine.

Does anyone know what might be going on here? I am using the latest version
of Kubuntu.
