Hi, I try to install a Dell Wireless 1450 USB Adapter on my dell PC which is running Redhat Enterprise 4 ,However i got problems when i am using driverloader to install the driver. These are the steps i done for the installation. 1. upgrade my kernel to stack size 16 rpm -i kernel-smp-2.6.9-22.0.2.EL.stk16.i686.rpm ( the rpm is downloaded from the linuxant website) after that ,when i use command uname -r ,it shows: " 2.6.9-22.0.2.EL.stk16smp" 2. install the driveloader rpm -i driverloader-2.31_k2.6.9_22.0.2.ELsmp-1rh.i686.rpm (also download from that website) it succeeds without error. 3. i go to the webconf page through http://127.0.0.1:18020 ,login as root and try to upload the windows driver from the wireless installation CD which i got from dell. but it failed .The error page is in the attachment file 4. Then i use dldrconfig --dumpdiag to get the driver dialog file which is also in the attachment. Hope to get your help soon. Thanks a lot. regards, zhenni _______________________________________________ driverloader mailing list [email protected] https://www.linuxant.com/mailman/listinfo/driverloader
