Re: Ubuntu 6.10 and Driverloader

we did the testing on x86 so far and as you have mentioned, it is always 
possible that the patches are required on x86_64. As for the problems 
which were fixed in 2.6.18, it is quite possible that this was an issue 
with the kernel and not DriverLoader. If we are able to reproduce this 
problem and this is am actual problem with DriverLoader, it will be 
fixed in a future version.

NetworkManager is working very well with DriverLoader. Unlike most 
wireless configuration tools, it is easy to use and is well integrated 
with wpa_supplicant for WPA/WPA2 support. Hopefully, this tool will be 
well integrated with future distributions of Linux, it makes wireless 
very easy to use with a laptop under Linux, provided you have a Linux 
driver for it, this is where DriverLoader comes to the rescue!
