The libevl library is LGPL so that non-GPL applications can use it without suffering the "viral effect". Although the idea was to host the SNMP subagent with event logging, I'm not sure this will be acceptable to my employer's attorneys. It may be necessary for you to post it on a separate website (like sourceforge) and be the official maintainer. Ofcourse, we'd certainly provide links from evlog.sf.net (and vice versa).
