Hi, Yes, evlog does support the kernel 2.6.x, but we do not have patch for the latest kernel. There's currently a patch to kernel v2.6.0 on sf.net. What version of 2.6.x kernel you are looking at? However, if you don't plan to log event via evlog api in the kernel then you do not need evlog kernel patch, only user package would be enough. Thanks, Hien.
