Hi, I'm now looking at the feature for remote event logging. But i noticed this text: > Note that the evlogrmtd is capable of > accepting events simultaneously from > different hosts using both UDP and TCP; > however, currently all of the hosts must > be the same architecture. We're using IA64 for host nodes and wanted to run evlogd on some I/O cards (PPC) stacked in an I/O shelf. What factor requires all of the hosts to be the same arch? Is it a BIG -vs- LITTLE endian consideration, or something else? Is there any support planned for cross-arch remote event logging and if so, when? :) Thanks! /steve ===== ---------------------------------------------------------- Steve Woodruff, N9OH @ 42.18N 88.34W, [email protected] __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
