I am working on SuSE 9.1 with 2.6.4-52 kernel. Some things work (LiS installs) and some things don't (drivers crash). I am of the opinion that what I have right now would probably work with a 2.6 kernel that was compiled with -mregparm=0 (rather then the default "=3"). It is the register arguments that seem to be causing the most problems. So far it is kind of like peeling an onion. Every problem, once solved, reveals another. -- Dave At 02:08 PM 9/14/2004, David Lehmann wrote: >I know this has been touched upon, but I can not seem to find the answer. >Is there an LiS, anywhere, that successfully configures and installs in >the official Suse Linux Enterprise Server 9 kernel? >We are using the latest SLES9 updates: >Linux version 2.6.5-7.108-smp (gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux)) #1 SMP > >-- > >David Lehmann Ulticom, Inc. >AOL/Yahoo IM: davidULCM 1020 Briggs Road >1-856-787-2729 Mt.
