I am working on SuSE 9.1 with 2.6.4-52 kernel. Some things work (LiS
installs) and some things don't (drivers crash).

I am of the opinion that what I have right now would probably work with a
2.6 kernel that was compiled with -mregparm=0 (rather then the default
"=3"). It is the register arguments that seem to be causing the most problems.

So far it is kind of like peeling an onion. Every problem, once solved,
reveals another.
