Well, that's something different.  The redhat source package
is not broken.  Dave's LiS releases do not check that
/boot/kernel.h is correct for the architecture, for the built
or running kernel.  The autoconf release LiS-2.16.18-19.tar.gz
fixes /boot/kernel.h problems by generating correct kernel.h
definitions and then straps out any inappropriate
/boot/kernel.h.

There are many of these kinds of issues that I solved in the
autoconf release.  If you do not use them, it will be
difficult for me to help you.
