Ok, I have Linux Fast-STREAMS passing all test cases on x86_64 SMP.

I will now finish proper 32-bit compatibility before re-releasing
Linux Fast-STREAMS.

LiS, OTOH, fails a bunch more (10 or 12 more) test cases.  Some of
these appear to the 64bit issues.  Added to the other 40 or so test
case lockups previously discovered on SMP, I cannot see that LiS is
usable in a 64bit SMP environment at all.  (I'm sure that it might
work fine for some very narrow applications.)  Coupled with the fact
that existing BLD32OVER64 and ioctl32 conversion is fundamentally 
flawed, I will likely not be updating LiS unless requested by a sponsor.

Please use Linux Fast-STREAMS in such an environment.  The strcompat
package includes LiS source (and some LiS binary) compatibility for
Linux Fast-STREAMS to assist with any transition issues.
