I sent this message to the ltt-dev mailing list a week ago. I'm not sure it was received, so I'm retransmitting. As an update, I still have the problem in LTT version 0.6.29. Scott Doerrie -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Markers not set Date: Mon, 06 Nov 2006 00:00:57 -0500 From: M. Scott Doerrie <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Hello, I'm trying to run a 2.6.18 kernel with a few patch variants. Basically, the kernel compiles, but marker symbols for kernel_sched_migrate_task and kernel_sched_wait_task are not being constructed, and cause the entire ltt-probe-kernel module to fail when loading. However, other scheduler markers are being constructed correctly. I have tried this with patches 0.6.0, 0.6.15, 0.6.21, and 0.6.23. I'm not sure what other information to provide at the moment, but any help would be appreciated. Do you have a recommended release? I need a release where full scheduler and memory management traces are possible, the rest is optional. Scott Doerrie
