LTTng problem for linux-2.6.18 for 0.6.41 patch on OMAP2420(ARM11 core ) board

Hi ,,

    we are new to LTTng.. we are applying LTTng 0.6.41 patch on linux kernel  2.6.18 (OMAP2420 board)...

The procedure we followed:

#cd /home/linux2.16.18

#cat  /path/patch6.41/patch*-2.6.18-lttng-0.6.41* | patch -p1

while applying this patch it shows a message like 

Reversed (or previously applied) patch detected! Assume -R? [n]

selecting both y / n doesnt solve the kernel compilation problem. we are getting kernel build errors.

we have tried LTTng6.40 and 6.41, both are giving same build errors,
