Hello,

Since I am aware that this iteration is taking a long time and that it
holds some features to get into LTTng's mainline quickly, I thought
about giving you snapshots of my patchset. It should compile fine and
trace, but the even set is currently limited and LTTV has not been
updated to support the new trace format. You will notice that the
patchset is in a much better shape that previously. It will be much
easier to send those small pieces upstream. Currently, the userspace
patches are commented out because I want to be able to follow the -mm
tree more quickly. The order of the patches is more or less the order in
which I plan to have them sent to mainline and also indicates their
degree of readiness for mainline.

Here is the snapshot:

(it includes the -mm patches plus the lttng patches)
