Actually, the patchset will not apply as-is to 2.6.23.1 : mainly, the linux kernel markers are missing from 2.6.23.1 and should be copied from a 2.6.23-mm1 tree. You can use the pre7 2.6.23.1 port I made as an example of how to do the port from 2.6.23-mm1 to 2.6.23.1. You'll need Andrew Morton's patches at: http://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/akpm/patches/2.6/2.6.23/2.6.23-mm1/2.6.23-mm1-broken-out.tar.bz2 I think I'll focus on the main development (currently 2.6.23-mm1) and let others do stable ports, otherwise it would slow down development too much. I am always interested in a tarball of a port to a stable kernel version.
