Hi Mathieu,
applying Andy's git-net.patch (from 2.6.23-mm1-broken-out.tar.bz2), I get
the segmentation
fault later, just in the ltt_create_buf_file_callback function and the
relay_open is done.
So I do think the issue is not in ltt but in my tree where I didn't apply
all the patchset required for mm1.
Indeed, I only imported the marker from mm1.

Thanks for your support, I'll post the printk-output as soon as possible.

Just a final note: I've met the same issue applying from scratch
http://ltt.polymtl.ca/lttng/patch-2.6.23.1-lttng-0.10-pre7-port.tar.bz2
against the 2.6.23.1. Maybe this could be useful for other users.

Ciao
Giuseppe
