Tracing in order to fix timing problems?

Hi,
I was wondering if a trace taken by lttng has ever helped to fix a problem
about timing constraints or scheduling?
I know that lttng has been used to fix some problems caused by the hardware ,
like needing much more RAM or so. My question is more about fixing a problem
by modifying the software, scheduling policy or timing constraints. For
example, in an audio/video application or any other real time application,
something was going wrong and the trace has helped to find out the solution
which has been more about software. If you know an example, I'll be grateful
to know it.

Your help is highly appreciated,
Parissa.
