Hello Kernel Team,

I would like to report several issues I encountered while testing
Linux kernel 7.0.0-29 on an AMD-based system.
These problems appear consistently and seem related to ACPI,
suspend/resume handling, and early boot behavior.

1. Unexpected BIOS/firmware logs displayed during early bootAfter
upgrading to kernel 7.0.0-29, the system shows unexpected
BIOS/firmware-related messages during the boot process.
These logs were not present in previous kernel versions (e.g., 6.17),
and they appear before the graphical boot splash.
This behavior suggests a regression in early boot logging or ACPI
initialization.

2. USB WiFi dongle fails to initialize after resume from suspendWhen
resuming from suspend, USB WiFi adapters do not reinitialize.
The device remains powered off and does not appear in lsusb or dmesg.
This seems related to autosuspend / power management changes in kernel
7.x.Only a full system reboot restores WiFi functionality.

3. High CPU usage after resume from suspendAfter waking the system
from suspend, CPU usage spikes dramatically and remains high.
Normal load averages do not decrease, and background processes appear
stuck in a busy state.
This issue persists until the system is fully rebooted.
This behavior was not present in previous kernels (6.17 / 6.18).

System InformationCPU: AMD PRO
Kernel version: 7.0.0-29
Previous stable kernel tested: 6.17 (no issues observed)
Distribution: Linux Mint (Ubuntu base)
Architecture: x86_64

SummaryKernel
7.0.0-29 appears to introduce regressions affecting:

ACPI / early boot logging
USB autosuspend and resume behavior
CPU scheduler or power management after suspend

These issues significantly impact system stability and usability on
AMD hardware.

I would be happy to provide additional logs such as:
dmesg output
journalctl -b
ACPI tables
Suspend/resume traces

Please let me know if further information is needed.

Thank you for your work and support.Best regards,
Alireza
